Bar Ionizers

Bar Ionizers

Rapidly eliminate static electricity from plastic films, injection molds, and packaging materials.  Bar ionizers direct ionized air particles toward the work zone with compressed air.  Low maintenance electrode needle cartridges minimize contamination and are replaceable.  Available sensors optimize ion balance or reversed polarity to reduce elimination time.  Protect sensitive electronics with the low-amplitude Dual AC type.

The IZN nozzle Ionizer provides a more compact anti-static solution. A 16mm body width permits installation in narrow spaces. This ionizer is perfect for the removal of static electricity on light electrical  pieces and ideal for dust removal on injection molded parts.


Fan Ionizers

Fan Ionizers

Unlike bar or nozzle types, this fan ionizer does not require a pneumatic air supply.  The fan draws in ambient air, then ionizes the air with four electrodes located around the perimeter of the discharge  grill.  The fan can be wired into a 24VDC machine power supply, or use the optional 120V AC adapter.  The small form factor adapts well to enclosure mounting, or select the benchtop mounting bracket for free  positioning.

In addition to products for treating static electricity, SMC offers products for detecting static in your applications.If you have numerous areas that are prone to generating static, the IZH10 handheld electrostatic meter is a useful tool to diagnose the presence and intensity of electrostatic fields before solutions are implemented. Once ionizers have been deployed, this mobile device can also be used to monitor their success and watch for maintenance opportunities. If a permanent installation is desired, the IZD10 electrostatic sensor can be paired with the IZE11 sensor monitor for ongoing observation in a fixed location. The IZE11 monitor translates the IZD10 sensor's output into an LED display of the static level, as well as two user definable switch outputs and ananalog output. These outputs can trigger maintenance alarms or operation signals for the bar and nozzle ionizers.


Ion Box

Ion Box

The ZVB is a cleaning device for small and medium parts sensitive to static and static-induced dust adhesion.  The Ion Box combines three functions - static neutralization, dust removal, and dust collection.  Operation begins when a part enters the box and is detected by a photoelectronic sensor.  Static removal and vacuum dust collection begin immediately, followed by an air blow.  The duration of treatment can be selected by a set switch on the control panel. Suitable workpieces include optical glass, resin molded materials, circuit boards and medical devices.

Antistatic One-touch fittings series KA has one-touch loading and unloading. Series KA can be used in copper- free applications and in vacuum (max. -100kPa). Conductive resin is used for body and seals in fittings and tubing. Series KA is flame resistant (UL94 standard, V-0).


M/MS Miniature Fittings

Series M and MS miniature fittings are for use with air connections in confined areas. The hose nipple and hose elbow styles accept nylon, soft nylon and polyurethane tubing. The body of the MS series is stainless steel, making it possible to use this fitting in corrosive applications.
