External Guide Shaft – Standard External Guided Cylinder - MGG

MGGM, Standard External Guided Cylinder, Slide Bearing

MGGM, Standard External Guided Cylinder, Slide Bearing

The MGGM integrates a round body cylinder for its power source with external guide rods to isolate the load bearing from the movement of the actuator's rod and seals for a compact and light weight unit. The carbon steel alloy slide bearing provides lateral stability protecting it from side load impacts, suitable for stopping applications. It is enhanced with shock absorbers at the end of stroke for maximum kinetic energy absorption. Non-rotating accuracy ranging from +/-0.02° for 100 mm bore to +/-0.07° for 20 mm bore.

  • Bore sizes: 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 80, 100 mm
  • Available in basic or front flange mounting
  • High temperature option, up to 150°C or 302°F (XB6)
  • Dual stroke option, single rod (XC11)
  • External shock absorbers as standard
  • Auto-switch capable

MGGL, Standard External Guided Cylinder, Ball Bushing Bearing

MGGL, Standard External Guided Cylinder, Ball Bushing Bearing

The MGGL integrates a round body cylinder for its power source with external guide rods to isolate the load bearing from the movement of the actuator's rod and seals for a compact and light weight unit. The high precision ball bushing allows for smooth operation that ensures stable travel resistance, suitable for pushing and lifting applications.

MGGM-XC8/XC9, Standard External Guided Cylinder with Stroke Adjuster, Slide Bearing

MGGM-XC8/XC9, Standard External Guided Cylinder with Stroke Adjuster, Slide Bearing

The stroke adjustment (up to 50 mm) can be either on the extend or retract cycle.

  • Adjustable stroke option, extent cycle (XC8)
  • Adjustable stroke option, retract cycle (XC9)
  • External shock absorbers as standard
  • Auto-switch capable

MGG-H/R, Standard External Guided Cylinder with End Lock

MGG-H/R, Standard External Guided Cylinder with End Lock

The MGG integrates a round body, end lock cylinder for its power source with external guide rods to isolate the load bearing from the movement of the actuator's rod and seals for a one piece unit. The end lock can be specified for either the head end (H) or rod end (R) of the stroke. The brake spring, end lock mechanism will engage when air pressure is lost for drop prevention applications and can be released by reintroducing air pressure or via a manual release bolt. It is enhanced with shock absorbers at the end of stroke for maximum kinetic energy absorption. Non-rotating accuracy ranging from +/-0.02° for 100 mm bore to +/-0.07° for 20 mm bore. The (L) high precision ball bushing allows for smooth operation that ensures stable travel resistance, suitable for pushing and lifting applications. The (M) carbon steel alloy slide bearing provides lateral stability protecting it from side load impacts, suitable for stopping applications.

  • Bore sizes: 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 80, 100 mm
  • Available in basic or front flange mounting
  • Adjustable stroke range: 10 mm (20 mm bore)
  • Adjustable stroke range: 15 mm (25 - 100 mm bore)
  • External shock absorbers as standard
  • Auto-switch capable
