The CE2 series cylinder, through prediction control and a learning feature, is capable of highly reproducible positioning (stopping accuracy of ± 0.5mm). The brake mechanism, employing a combination spring and air pressure locking system, allows locking on either of the cylinder's reciprocating strokes. The CE2 measurement function, utilizing a magnetic scale rod and built-in detection head, provides a minimum unit of measure of 0.1mm.
The ML2B series incorporates both a brake and positioning scale with a mechanical joint rodless cylinder in one convenient package. The combination of these items makes repeatable multi-stop action and positioning possible. Both the CEU1 (counter) and CEU2 (positioning controller) can be used with the ML2B. Repeatability of ±0.5mm can be achieved when using the CEU2 controller. Degradation of cylinder performance due to repeated use of the braking mechanism is eliminated as braking force is applied against replaceable side rail.
Series CEU5, multi counter was developed to work with CEP1 or CE1 high precision, stroke reading cylinders. CEU5 utilizes a RS-232C communication system which allows multiple counters to be linked together (each counter has a unique address, 1-99. BCD output, which allows the counter to be connected to a panel display, is available as a standard option.
The CE1 series is a stroke reading cylinder with position feedback. The home position can be anywhere within the cylinder stroke. Measurement is possible throughout the full stroke range. The CE1 series is offered in 6 bore sizes and is auto switch capable.
The ML1 series is a mechanical joint rodless cylinder with brake. The brake mechanism has been compactly integrated into the slide table which enables intermediate stops of the rodless cylinder. The shock absorber can absorb small to large impacts without adjustments due to self-compensation. Many kinds of auto switches are applicable.
