SMCs refrigerated dryers are built with high efficiency stainless steel heat exchanger providing long life and low pressures drops and are UL listed up to sizes covering 300 scfm flows. The series IDFB*E, SMC dryers use environmental friendly R134a/R407C refrigerant to provide pressure dew point of 37ΊF and has simple control system, incorporating easy to read evaporator gauge. These compact dryers come with staggered inlet/outlet ports for easy installation and have a 3/8 push-in condensate drain port. To complement these dryers SMC also provides main line filters to remove oil, water and dirt particles in the compressed air, with filtration grade ranging from 0.01 micron to 0.3 microns. Also available from SMC are the point of use FRL (Filter, regulator, lubricator) combination units or individual unit. As a complementary product to the Refrigerated Dryers, the membrane dryer Series IDG is ideal for point of use application providing dew points as low as 76ΊFfor medical and dental applications.

Needing a cylinder to hold position in the event of a loss of air pressure? The CBM2 series cylinder from SMC Corporation of America could be your answer. The CBM2 integrates a stainless steel, round body cylinder with an end of stroke locking feature. The CBM2 is based on the popular stainless steel body CM2 series with the addition of the end of stroke locking feature. Some of the features of the CBM2 series include:
Three locking types are available: Head side, rod side or both Standard with a choice of manual override: Locking or non-lock type Very low 1mm maximum locking backlash Lock holding force of up to 860N Very low maximum lock release pressure of 0.15Mpa Standard with urethane bumper or available with optional air cushion for extra end of stroke kinetic energy absorption capability The design of the CBM2 allows for rod seal replacement if necessary Available with optional internal magnet for end of stroke sensing capability Available with optional rod boot for seal protection in tough environments Available with eight different mounting options
The MHF2 gripper integrates a compact design with improved precision and repeatability, making this product adaptable to many customer applications. Some of the features of the MHF2 series include: Height is reduced to 1/3 compared with common gripper types Double piston construction achieves compact design with strong holding force The compact height reduces bending moment and vibration when used as end-of-arm tooling. Improved rack design with low backlash High precision stainless steel linear guide design allows a cycle rate of 120 cycles per minute Improved mounting repeatability with positioning pin holes on the body and fingers Auto switches can be mounted on both sides Side piping option also available 4 bore sizes with 3 standard stroke lengths are available To request the product catalog ES20-166, please visit www.smcpdf.com. The MK2T Rotary Clamp Cylinder is an addition to our compact and lightweight MK rotary clamp cylinder series. Rotary clamp cylinders are typically used to clamp parts together during a welding process. SMC's rotary clamp cylinders are equipped with piston rod scrapers to help extend cylinder life by removing contaminants from the piston rod. They are also equipped with a magnetic piston and can be fitted with our direct mount auto-switches for end of stroke position sensing capability. SMC's rotary clamp cylinders include the MK, which is considered a standard duty rotary clamp cylinder, and the MK2, which is considered a heavier duty design than the MK. The design of the rotational mechanism in the newest addition, MK2T, is a double guide type. This gives the MK2T three times the moment of inertia capability over the MK2 and ten times the moment of inertia capability over the MK. The two-roller mechanism also allows the MK2T to be mounted horizontally where horizontal mounting was not allowed in the previous versions. The MK2T also features improved non-rotating accuracy as well as a tighter rotation angle tolerance than previous series.

Series VBA booster regulators can allow you to supply higher pressure air to a device without the cost of operating your entire system at the higher pressure. Easy to install with no electrical requirements, they are ideal for remote locations or additions to existing machines. Three models are available, and the two larger sizes have been improved for extended life (up to 2X the current models), lower noise, and enhanced performance. Improvements include grease grooves for lubricant retention, floating assemblies for oscillating components, inlet strainers, improved bumpers to reduce valve noise, the addition of a high noise reduction muffler option, and a new tube design to aid in heat transfer and reduce outlet condensation. Outlet pressure is controlled either via an integral regulator or a remote air pressure signal. All models can be directly connected to a storage tank by a port in the base, further simplifying installation.
Energy saving Simple operation, no electricity needed Up to 2X pressure increase (4X for VBA1111) Ό, 3/8, and ½ port sizes in R, G, and NPTF threads
Series ARM5 regulator manifolds provide control of multiple devices from a single pressure control point. With flow capabilities up to 8 scfm (225 l/min ANR) and a lightweight design, these regulators can be mounted on a robot for convenient control of individual end of arm tooling components. A 3-station unit, for example, adds as little as 4.1 oz. (116g) to the robot and consumes little of your allowable payload. Integral check valves permit their use between the control valve and actuator and allow pressure release when the valve is shifted. One-touch fitting connections simplify connection of tubing and save the installation time and cost of installing fittings in threaded ports. Internal tie rods connect the units together and make expansion quick and easy. They are available with common supply for control of multiple components from a single pressure signal or individual supply for ganged control of multiple signals. Single units are also available, and all styles are offered in both inch and metric configurations.
Compact and lightweight Up to 10 stations One-touch fitting connections Common or individual air supply DIN rail or direct mounting options Standard backflow function Simple expandability
The Series SJ valve manifolds allows mounting of two sizes of valves SJ2000 (7.5 mm width) & SJ3000 (10 mm width) on the same manifold and comes in both plug in and non plug in configurations. The valves have a service life of 50 million cycles and consumes less power of 0.15w (SJ 3000 with power saving circuit) and have a Cv of 0.08 and 0.12 for SJ2000 and SJ3000 respectively. The card edge type connector used in the plug in manifold allows maximum of 16 double solenoid valves or 32 single solenoid valves and allows easy modification of the manifold. The electrical connections include D sub connector, PC wiring, individual wiring and Serial wiring. The serial wiring offers CC link, DeviceNet, Profibus DP (Gateway type only) protocols The optional regulator block to control pressure of certain valves and intermediate connector assembly to control power of certain valves in the same manifold, offers versatility in the use of Series SJ manifolds. For vacuum application two spools are built in the same valve for vacuum suction and breaking with a single valve.
