Stainless Steel Body Cylinder
Series NCM

NCM Stainless Steel Cylinder now available in 7/16" and 9/16" bores. 3/4", 7/8", 1 1/16", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 2" bore sizes also available. Mounting options include front nose mount, rear pivot mount, double end mount, block mount, foot mount. Options include high temp, low temp, low friction, stainless steel rod, rod boot, rubber cushion.

Digital Pressure Sensor
Series ISE30A

Improving upon our ISE30 platform, the new ISE30A (pressure) and ZSE30A (vacuum) digital pressure sensors feature many new options. These high precision, compact sensors are optimal for both machine and panel mounting. The 2-color display transitions from red to green based on process changes. These changes can be monitored as either digital and/or analog outputs.

Coolant Valve
Series SGC/SGH

SMC’s Series SGC/SGH coolant valve is ideal for use in coolant system of the machine tools and parts wash machines and comply with RoHS directive The series SGC valves offer an extremely high coefficient of volume flow (Cv) up to 17 with operating pressure ranging from 72psi to 232 psi and comes in both air and electrical operated versions.

The series SGH valves is ideal for high speed grinding and drilling with long drill and is suitable for coolant pressure range of 435 psi -1015psi and Cv up to 6.5

The electrical operated version valves come in various electrical connections including conduit terminal, DIN terminal and M12 connector with solenoid voltages 12V, 24V in DC and 100V, 110V, 200V, 220V in AC power supply. The 24VDC coil valve consumes a very low power of 0.35W to save energy. The series SGC coolant valves also comes with optional auto switches to confirm valve opening and closing and also to interlock with the machine tool controls. Complementing the SGC coolant valves, SMC also offers pressure switch Series ISE and ISG to control the coolant line pressure, Series FN1/FN4 low maintenance coolant filters and energy efficient coolant nozzles Series KN

Refrigerated Chiller now UL registered
Series HRGC

The series HRGC refrigerated Chiller is now available in 1.1kw, 2.3kw and 4.8kw cooling capacities, in both air cooled and water cooled versions. The temperature setting range is 5ºC – 35ºC with a temperature stability of +/_1ºC or +/-0.5ºC With energy efficient design -power saving of 74% and reduction in use of refrigerant by 35% over conventional chillers, the HRGC chiller offers low cost of ownership to the users with better environment protection. The HRGC chiller is easy to operate and maintain and comes with various options including RS485 communication, high pressure pump, earth leakage breaker, and heater. Additional options are under development. The castors are a standard feature. With RoHS & CE compliant the HRGC chiller is now UL registered For larger cooling capacities of 9.5kw and 14.5 kW the Series HRG chiller is recommended. Some of the applications for HRGC chiller include X-ray, MRI, blood preservation equipment, Food processing machine, semiconductor equipment, printing machine, gas chromatography equipment and electron microscope.

EX600 System
Series EX600 I/O System

Series EX600 Fieldbus I/O system with modular construction providing high degree of freedom in system configuration. With flexible platform, the EX600 system is offered in both centralized and decentralized configuration with wide range of I/O modules. The patented hinged clamp design assures that all the modules are held together securely, while still allowing adding or removing individual modules without the inherent limitations of a more traditional tie rod design.The EX600 system supports Profibus-DP, DeviceNet and CC Link protocols, with 512 digital inputs and 512 digital outputs or 32 analog inputs/outputs and can be integrated with SMC's solenoid valves Series SV, VQC, SY, VQ and S0700. With IP67 enclosure rating and SPEEDCON connector compatible for M12 connectors, the EX600 system has diagnostic functions including over current detection at each output, open detection at each output and output operation count log. A handheld terminal allows access to various operational parameters of the EX600 I/O system. It can be used as a troubleshooting tool or to simply monitor the system’s performance.Critical information is available immediately, saving time and resources.

Custom Engineered Plastic Manifold and Valve Technology
Series Composite Valve Manifolds

Custom Engineered Plastic Manifolds save installation space and time, thus providing low cost of ownership. These manifolds, also eliminate assembly errors and are available for both Air and Fluidics Systems.

The custom manifold for air application can be mounted with SMC’s 3 port solenoid valve Series S070 (Cv - 0.11) Series V100( Cv-0.16) and low profile 5 port solenoid valve Series SJ to operate small pin cylinders or for piloting other valves. The manifold can be integrated with pressure switch series ISE/ZSE, Flow switch Series PFM and regulators and the components can be mounted on multi surfaces. These custom manifolds can also be used for micro fluidic systems and mounted with Series LVM chemical valves and are available with various materials for different chemicals.

The available materials for the manifold are Acrylic resin (PMMA), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Polytherimide (PEI), Polysulfone (PSU) which are diffusion bonded. The Polyetheretherketone(PEEK) is a machined version manifold.

Wear resistant tubing for tough applications
Series TUZ

Do you need the flexibility of polyurethane but require even greater resistance to frictional wear? The new TUZ series may be your answer. Extruded from an enhanced polyurethane blend, TUZ is better able to withstand the constant abrasion within a cable carrier or other applications where tubing rubs against fixtures or other lines. In SMC testing, series TUZ showed only 1/3 the wear of our standard polyurethane and performed significantly better than competitive product. The material is flexible like standard polyurethane but non-tacky, so it can also be more easily pulled through complex passages. By using an additive, the wear resistance is blended in and does not diminish with initial wear as you would find with a coating or sheath. For a tough, long lasting tubing when you can’t avoid friction, try the TUZ series.

Improved Pressure Boosters
Series VBA

Series VBA booster regulators can allow you to supply higher pressure air to a device without the cost of operating your entire system at the higher pressure. Easy to install with no electrical requirements, they are ideal for remote locations or additions to existing machines. Three models are available, and the two larger sizes have been improved for extended life (up to 2X the current models), lower noise, and enhanced performance. Improvements include grease grooves for lubricant retention, floating assemblies for oscillating components, inlet strainers, improved bumpers to reduce valve noise, the addition of a high noise reduction muffler option, and a new tube design to aid in heat transfer and reduce outlet condensation. Outlet pressure is controlled either via an integral regulator or a remote air pressure signal. All models can be directly connected to a storage tank by a port in the base, further simplifying installation.

A Low-Energy Shock Absorber for Slow, Light, Fragile Loads
Series RJ

Confronted by low energy applications for small conveyance equipment such as our MY3B rodless, MXP slides and MSQ rotaries in which the RB shock is too resistant for optimal damping? SMC introduces the new soft type RJ shock absorber. RJ is optimized for speeds below 2m/s and masses below 40 kg. Compared to our higher-energy RB, RJ offers 25% less resistance and up to a 30% shorter stroke duration. The design also offers improved durability, extending life to 3 million cycles! The design features a pre-load generator and a synthetic rubber accumulator that work together to ensure a constant supply of damping oil throughout the shock’s useful life. Also, a patented spiral groove replaces the common fixed orifice mechanism to smooth the damping curve. If you have a fragile load that is sensitive to pulsing during the damping stroke, RJ offers your desired solution.

 

• Three metric sizes, including M8x1, M10x1, and M14x1.5.
• Maximum absorbed energy per cycle is 1, 3, or 10 Joules respectively.
• H type is optimized for higher velocity; L type is optimized for larger mass.
• Velocity ranges from 0.05 to 2 m/s.
• Optional foot bracket and stopper nut are available.

Clean Wet Series Process Pump - Ideal for handling corrosive fluids
Series PAF

The Series PAF Clean wet series process pump is built with New PFA body material and PTFE diaphragm and seal material. With no metallic parts, this pump is ideal for handling variety of corrosive fluids. With flow capacity up to 45l/min, the Series PAF pump comes in two sizes PAF3000 and PAF5000 and has an option to select either automatically operated or air operated pump.

With 3 types of piping connections available viz, female thread, tube extension and fitting type Other options include mounding bracket and silencer
