Chemical Liquid Valves and Accessories

LVM

Series LVM is a compact, direct acting, 2/3 port solenoid valve for chemicals. The unique construction reduces residual liquid to a minimum. Superior resistance to chemicals requires less maintenance. Service life (based on SMC test conditions) is 10 million cycles or more.

LVA

SMC high purity series LVA valve has three types of body materials (SUS/PPS/PFA) that can be selected based on the customers application. Special diaphragm construction insures gentle opening and closing that prevents the formation of micro-bubbles. A unique guide ring on the piston rod eliminates lateral motion of the poppet, greatly increasing seal life and reducing particle formation.

LVC

High purity chemical valves, series LVC with integral fittings eliminate the possibility of residual liquid in pipe threads. In addition, the body has been designed for smooth flow with minimal internal dead space. Special diaphragm construction insures gentle opening and closing preventing the formation of micro-bubbles. A unique guide ring on the piston rod eliminates lateral motion of the poppet, increasing seal life and reducing particle formation.

LQ

SMC high purity HYPER FITTING series LQ* responds to the latest demands in process control. From parts cleaning to assembly and packaging, all processes are controlled for cleanliness, and the use of new PFA virtually eliminates particle generation and TOC (total organic carbon) allowing confident use for the most demanding applications. If chemistries or flow requirements are changed duing process, our face seal design allows for quick change of tubing, and/or tube diameters, using the same fitting body.

TL

Series TL high purity fluoropolymer tubing is available as standard in metric sizes of 10m or 20m rolls. The TL series has outstanding corrosion resistance, compatible with chemicals such as acids, bases and ultrapure water.

Liquid / Process Valves

VDW

The VDW20/30 series is a compact, direct operated, 2 port solenoid valve for water, air and vacuum. The use of a unique magnetic material reduces the operating resistance of moving parts, improving service life, wear and corrosion resistance.

VX

Series VX21/22/23, direct operated 2 port solenoid valve for air, gas, vacuum, water, steam and oil. Proper selection of body and sealing materials permits application of a wide variety of fluids. Application can be matched by simply choosing body materials (brass, stainless steel), seal materials (NBR, EPR, FPM, PTFE) and the solenoid coil (class B, class H).

VC

Series VC is a multipurpose, direct operated, 2 port solenoid valve for air. Special construction reduces operating resistance and moving parts for improved longevity and wear resistance. A built-in rectifier eliminates AC coil burning and buzzing. The VC enclosure is IP65 equivalent.

Pilot / Pneumatic Valves

S070

Series S070 is a super compact direct acting 2/3 port solenoid valve that meets the miniaturisation needs of analysers, medical equipment and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. S070 is extremely lightweight (5g for valve single unit type) and operation noise is 38dB(A) or less. It is easy to increase or decrease the number of stations (stacking base). Valve width is 7mm.

VQ

VQ valves are ideal for applications requiring high speed, frequent operation, stable response time and long service life. Innovative mounting methods allow valves to be changed without entirely disassembling the manifold. Built-in one-touch fittings save piping time and labor.

VQ20

The VQ20/30 series is a pilot operated, two port multi-media valve. The series is compact and lightweight with a large flow capacity. The VQ20/30's long life, high speed coil (up to 20 million cycles at 100cps for pneumatic use) along with its all plastic construction, make it an excellent choice for those who want high performance at a lower cost.

Electric Actuators

LJ1

Series LJ1 is a uniaxial electric actuator available in a high rigidity direct acting guide type (LJ1H), or a direct acting slider guide type (LJ1S). The completely flat top surface of the LJ1 series improves freedom in mounting of work pieces. With the slider guide, slide screw type, low drive noise of 47dB or less is possible.

LG1

Compact electric actuator, series LG1, uses a high rigidity, high linear precision guide, with reduced height and space saving design. Height is reduced by nearly 39% and length is reduced by nearly 62mm compared with SMC product LJ series. Two types of construction are available, non-coupling type with feed screw and motor directly coupled reduced length & coupling type with feed screw and motor joined by a coupling installation of nonstandard motors is possible.

LX

The LXF series is a low profile, short stroke electric actuator. The system is designed to be compact for easy system integration. Basic structure of the LXF consists of a linear motion guide, a stepper motor and an ACME lead screw. The standard stepper motor can be replaced with motors from other manufacturers.

Air Preparation

IR

Series IR Precision Regulators are designed to be compact and light weight. The maximum set pressure has been expanded from the conventional 0.7MPa to 0.8MPa. Relief flow has been increased by nearly 5 times (compared to SMC IR201, IR401). The optional bracket and pressure gauge can be mounted on either the front or back of the unit.

IDG

Membrane air dryer series IDG is available in a single unit or combination unit style. IDG/M models combine a mist separator and micro mist separator with a single unit. IDG/V models combine a regulator with the IDG/M model. Options available include one-touch fitting exhaust of purge air. If purged air is not exhausted around membrane air dryer, air is exhausted with tubing away from its dryer.

SRP

High precision, low flow consumption, stainless steel regulator SRP has excellent corrosion resistance. SUS316 is used for all metal parts in contact with the fluid. Consistent clean room production is achieved by cleaning, assembling, inspecting, and sealing in double packaging in a class 10,000 environment.

Instrumentation

ITV

Series ITV electro-pneumatic and electronic vacuum regulators control air/vacuum pressure steplessly in proportion to an electric signal. They are light weight in design with a bright and easy to read LED display. The monitor output is available either as analog output or switch output. The ITV series is IP65 equivalent.

PF2

SMC offers a variety of digital flow switches. Series PF2A for air, PF2W for water, PF2D for deionized water and chemicals. Flow rate setting and monitoring are possible with the digital display. Integrated and remote type displays are available for different types of application. Water resistant construction is used conforming to IP65 protection. Switching from real-time flow rate to accumulated flow is possible.

PA

Series PA is a double acting, compact, large capacity diaphragm pump suitable for transfer and recovery of a wide variety of fluids. The PA series is available in 3 types; automatically operated, air operated or automatically operated with a built-in pulsation attenuator.

PB

The PB series is a compact, single acting diaphragm pump which is suitable for transfer and recovery of a wide variety of fluids. The PB series is available with a built-in solenoid valve or in an air operated style. Space is saved due to the centralization of piping and wiring areas on the top and bottom surfaces.

PSE

Series PSE digital pressure switches allow pressure to be controlled from a remote location. The PSE100 series controller has an easy to read, large, 4 digit LED display. Display units can be easily selected and changed. Series PSE510 is compact and lightweight, allowing the sensor to be mounted where needed. The use of stainless steel for all wetted parts (SUS630 for diaphragm, SUS304 for fitting) allows the PSE520 pressure sensor to be used in a wide variety of gas and fluid applications.

Vacuum Equipment

ZF

Series ZF are air suction filters that prevent trouble in vacuum equipment caused by contaminants in the air. They are light weight and compact. ZF filter elements are easily replaced without tools.

IRV

The IRV series vacuum regulator was developed to upgrade the design of the T203 model in a more compact size and to expand the range of vacuum regulators. Thread sizes available include Rc(PT), NPT and G(PF).

ISE30  and   ZSE30

Series ISE30 high precision digital pressure switch (for positive pressure) with two color digital display allows you to choose the setting according to your application requirements. 4 different display settings are available. Abnormal conditions can be detected at a glance.

ZSE30 is the equivalent switch for vacuum applications.

ISE40  and   ZSE40

The ISE40 series is a high precision digital pressure switch. High-speed response time is 2.5ms or less with the anti-chattering function. Stable switch output is possible even with sudden changes in the primary pressure (when operating large bore cylinders, etc.). The auto shift function allows switch output unaffected by variations in primary pressure.

ZSE40 is the equivalent switch for vacuum applications.

ISE50  and   ZSE50

Model ISE50 is a standard thread type, high precision digital pressure switch for positive pressure. ISE50 is used for a wide range of fluids. The stainless steel diaphragm prevents direct contact between sensor and measured fluid. Sensor and fittings are electro-beam welded.

ZSE50 is the equivalent switch for vacuum applications.

ISE60  and   ZSE60

Model ISE60 is a high precision digital pressure switch for positive pressure. ISE60 uses special fittings (metal gasket seal fittings) for the semiconductor industry. The stainless steel diaphragm prevents direct contact between sensor and measured fluid. Sensor and fittings are electro-beam welded.

ZSE60 is the equivalent switch for vacuum applications.

ISE1  and   ZSE1

The ISE1 series is a compact, positive pressure switch available in a single setting with hysteresis adjustment, a double setting/double output type or an analog output type with hysteresis adjustment. The ISE1 is lightweight and the optional plug-in connector makes wiring easy and simple.

ZSE1 is the equivalent switch for vacuum applications.

ISE2  and   ZSE2

The ISE2 series is a compact, pressure switch (for positive pressure) and can be integrated with ZX or ZR vacuum systems. The ISE2 series pressure switch has a quick response time of 10mS and the plug connector option makes wiring easy and simple.

ZSE2 is the equivalent switch for vacuum applications.

ISE3  and   ZSE3

The ISE3 series is a digital pressure switch (for positive pressure) with LCD readout for general pneumatics purposes. The ISE3 digital pressure switch allows the calibration of two independent outputs. Modular version can be integrated with ZX system.

ZSE3 is the equivalent switch for vacuum applications.
