In 1966 SMC Australia was established as a joint venture in
Australia. This was the first overseas industry, and in 1980 became
a wholly owned subsidiary, SMC Pneumatics Australia Pty. Ltd. The
head office is located in Sydney with the brances in the main
industrial cities of Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. There
are furthur 8 sub-branches and 20 distributors completing the
network of sales and service of products in Australia. The plant in
Sydney produces air cylinders, air dryers, large air filters,
control systems, railway transport systems, and general
fabrication. The main branches also manufacture control systems,
and carry extensive inventory to provide the same day service of
standard products. SMC Australia has extensive engineering and

Mississauga, Ontario, the location of the headquarters and
production facility of SMC Canada has the manufacturing capacity to

purpose of developing the market in Germany, who has been a leader
of the Machine Industry. With its head office in Egelsbach, the
