Recirculating Thermo-Chiller
Chillers are products that provide temperature-controlled
circulating fluid to control the temperature of heat sources in
devices and equipment. As many models incorporate a heat source as
well, they are also called circulators. Maintaining a fixed
temperature can improve the quality, reliability, and service life
of equipment. Also, by utilizing a closed loop cooling system, the
cost and environmental impact of running cooling water to drain is
avoided. The compact design of the unit as well as the efficient design for shedding waste heat allow them to be placed under workbenches and in close proximity to one another. While designed for years of trouble-free service, the HRS features a robust self-diagnostic program to quickly identify issues. These easy to use units are an outstanding value that can improve many processes via efficient temperature control. Product Features

Automatic Leak Detection System
The ALDS is a block assembly consisting of a PFM711 flow switch, EVS7 ISO solenoid valve, and an aluminum manifold. This block installs in the main pneumatic supply line of any machine. During production, the valve delivers up to 3000 liters/min of instantaneous flow directly to the machine. When ready to operate a leak test, a PLC program shifts the valve to direct air through the flow switch. The leak test program then cycles each of the machine's actuators sequentially. The PLC reads the flow switch at the end of stroke of each actuator. Readings are compared to a baseline value to determine a flow differential, indicating a leak. The magnitude and location of each leak can be written to a maintenance report for prompt repair. |

Fan Style Ionizer: Static Elimination for Benchtops and
Enclosures
Accumulated static electricity causes problems in the manufacturing environment. Plastic wrap, labels or foam packing clings and attracts dust and dirt, causing misapplication or contamination. Excess static charge damages sensitive electronic components. Even comfort and safety of personnel can be compromised. Solve these problems with SMC's latest static eliminating device, the IZF10 fan type ionizer. The IZF10 achieves a +/-13V ion balance within 1.5 seconds. A lower noise option is also available, operating at a quiet 34dBA. Three LED's alert you to the power ON condition, abnormally high voltage, and when the electrodes need cleaning. At the end of useful life, the electrodes can even be replaced, extending the value of the device. The small form factor adapts well to enclosure mounting, or select the benchtop mounting bracket for free positioning. |

MPC: Multiposition Cylinder, Another Great Innovation from
SMC
Need an actuator that offers an infinite number of adjustable stroke positions for under $500? Previously, an electric actuator was your only option. Now SMC offers a pneumatic and lower cost alternative in our new MPC Series. The MPC (Multi Position Cylinder) uses a 4~20mA or 0~10VDC input signal to automatically adjust the actuator stroke. Once the MPC reaches the desired position, it is pneumatically locked until the input signal is changed. How does the MPC do this? The MPC is a Cylinder + Solenoid Valve + Linear Sensor + Controller all in one unit. You need only to supply air and the appropriate input signal. This easy adjustment makes the MPC perfect for on the fly changes to your process. |

Compact Vacuum Unit
The ZB Series Compact Vacuum Unit is an All-In-One solution to your vacuum needs. The unit includes a vacuum ejector, supply valve, release valve, vacuum break flow adjustment needle, suction filter and silencer in a single unit. The ZB is an energy saving design with reduced air consumption and reaches vacuum pressure set point quicker than previous models. The ZB can be used as a single unit or mounted to a manifold of up to 12 stations. |

Process Pumps
Always striving to make our products even better for our customers, SMC has re-engineered its process pump line-up. The changes to the process pumps go far beyond a part number change or anything cosmetic. We have lowered energy consumption, increased flow rates, and given the pump a longer life. With all eyes looking to manufacturers to be "greener", we have reduced the power required to operate the PB1011A. Because of its lower power consumption, .35 W compared to the previous .45 W (solenoid type only), your processes will be running with less energy than in the past, thereby saving on your operating costs. Just because the PB process pump uses less energy, don't think the pump's discharge has been reduced. It is actually just the opposite. In fact, the compact large capacity design of the PB1011A and PB1013A allows you to control the discharge flow rate from 8mL/ min. to a maximum 2000mL/ min -- that is 4 times greater than the previous model (4 times greater related to PB1013A). Changes in design and materials have also increased the life of the pump by 10 million cycles, and the PTFE diaphragm makes it suitable for non-permeating liquids. Additionally the size is reduced by 25%, and maintenance is even easier. The fluid passage area has also been improved for better resistance against blockage of foreign matter. Also, due the ability to mount the PB pumps from the side, front or back, you have the flexibility to mount the PB pumps almost anywhere, giving you greater flexibility. |

Large Bore, Light Weight Actuator
The new CS2 series is based on the old CS1 series. The CS2 utilized die cast aluminum covers resulting is a 55% reduction in weight. The allowable lateral load of the CS2 remains the same as the CS1 series. Because the CS2 is dimensionally interchangeable with the CS1, it can drop in to any CS1 application. The air cushion adjustment is improved for greater adjustability. The CS2 is available in bore sizes of 125mm, 140mm and 160mm. The CS2 is available in 31 different standard options so it is a great fit for many applications. The versatile CS2 is a great value in large bore actuators. |
