Hygienic Stainless Steel Cylinder
With the CG5-X2977 series, we offer you efficient, long-lasting cylinders for use in wet areas of the food and pharmaceutical industries. A special blue scraper which meets the material requirements of the FDA and EU 1935/2004 prevents water from entering the cylinder.
Stainless Steel 316, One-touch Fittings
Series KQG2 is a one-touch fitting made of all stainless steel SUS316, except seal parts. The series is suitable for use with steam and is grease-free. Applicable tubing includes FEP, PFA, nylon, soft nylon, polyurethane and polyolefin. The KQG2 series is available in both metric and inch sizes. The KQG2 is more compact and lightweight, and offers more configuration variations and tube sizes than the KQG series.

PF3W7-L, Digital Water Flow Sensor, IO-Link
Series PF3W7-L digital flow sensor constantly monitors water or coolant flow. "L" models are IO-Link compatible. These sensors also have the "Z" designation for redesigned piping adapters, imparting a 13-53% weight reduction depending on flow range. PF3W7-L features an integrated 3-color, 2-screen display. Options include a manual flow adjustment valve and temperature sensor. The main screen displays instantaneous flow value in red or green, while the white subscreen can show temperature, the switch set point, accumulated or peak/bottom value, or a line name. The display rotates in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, offering improved readability during operation. When paired with an IO-Link master, values and settings can be accessed from the HMI screen. PF3W7-L incorporates IO-Link version 1.1 and COM2 speed. 48 bits of process data include flow and temperature values, switch outputs, and diagnostics. Both IO-Link data and switch outputs can be read over the M8 or M8-to-M12 cable. PF3W7-L is IP65 rated, and is both RoHS and CE compliant.

Direct Operated 2-Port Solenoid Valve

AC20-D to AC40-D, Air Combination Units
The AC-D series of modular F.R.L. brings a modern appearance to SMC's line of air preparation equipment while maintaining the high performance of our other series. The maximum set pressure of the AC-D is 125 psi allowing use in a broad range of applications. Most of the features of the AC-A and -B have been incorporated into the AC-D - transparent bowl guards for full visibility; embedded gauges and pressure switches; reduced maintenance space and simplified element change on AF-D series filters; urban white color. The AC-D is currently available in three body sizes with more to come in the near future.

ITV-X395, IO-Link Compatible Electro-Pneumatic Regulator
IO-Link is a worldwide standardized I/O protocol, independent of any fieldbus or manufacturer. Communication is point-to-point and bidirectional, using a serial digital signal. ITV-X395 pairs IO-Link with an ITV electro-pneumatic regulator for digital control of the desired set pressure. The ITV-X395 connects to any IO-Link master with a single 4-wire, unshielded cable with an M12 connector. Send and receive pressure control signals, device information, and the setting parameters. Set pressure value has 12-bit resolution. An additional bit will indicate when set pressure is reached. Multiple parameters can be set to optimize performance. Parameters include initialization, gain and sensitivity tuning, zero an span adjustment, and hold/clear in response to an error. The front panel includes a power LED to indicate when power is supplied or there is an internal diagnosis error. A communication LED indicates stand-by or communication exchange, as well as a disconnect. Error codes for 3 conditions are also available.
AV2000/3000/4000/5000-A Soft Start Valve
Series AV-A soft start-up valves allow the user to set the initial rate of system pressurizations to minimize system shock. When deactivated, the valve quickly exhausts the system for safe servicing of equipment.
VHS30-X2155, Pressure Relief, 3 Port Valve w/Locking Holes
The VHS series pressure relief valve provides a convenient means of isolating supplied pressure in a pneumatic system and exhausting downstream pressure for maintenance purposes. The units can be locked in the exhaust position and can be an integral part of an energy isolation system. Air flow direction is easily identified by handle orientation and labelling.
Directional Control Valves
VFN2120N, 5 Port Solenoid Valve with NAMUR Interface
VFN2120N-X36 is a hygienic solenoid valve with standard NAMUR interface. The valve PPS resin body provides excellent high temperature and chemical/corrosion resistance for use in wash down applications (IP67). A 5-pin M12 electrical connection is used for waterproof sealing. With power consumption of only 0.5W, it is the most energy efficient valve with NAMUR interface on the market. It can also be used with AS-i bus system. VFN2120-X36 is available for 24 VDC or 110 VAC operation.
SY Solenoid Valves - 4 & 5 Port
SMC has improved product performance and reliability with the redesigned SY series valve. The SY3000 and SY5000 have the same valve width as their predecessors, but the flow has been increased by up to 80%, allowing the valve size to be reduced. A built-in strainer in the pilot valve prevents trouble caused by foreign matter. By using H-NBR seal material for the main valve and seals, Ozone resistance has been improved. Side, top and bottom port/pipe directions are available to allow flexible installation. The SY is available in body ported or base mounted styles, and can be used individually or manifold mounted.
JSY Compact Solenoid Valves - 4 & 5 Port
JSY series is a 5-port directional control valve targeted for the robotic arms and end of arm tools. It has compact and lightweight design while improving its flow characteristics. JSY series is available as plug-in and non plug-in types. There are 3 valve body sizes available for JSY series, JSY1000 (6.4mm), JSY3000 (10mm) and JSY5000 (15mm). JSY1000 is the world's smallest width 5 port valve with body width of 6.4mm. JSY plug-in type is compatible with fieldbus and ethernet communication module such as EX600 and EX260.
SY5000-X500 Clean Style Valve Manifold
The SY5000 is a clean-style valve manifold developed for the food & beverage industry. It is IP69K rated for washdown and cleaning. It offers the ability to install valves outside of a protective panel and close to actuators for better control. The application benefits from a small, lightweight package that is easy to clean and maintain.

CG5 Stainless Steel Actuators
The CG5-S series is a stainless steel cylinder that uses grease for food processing machines that meets FDA standards. The CG5-S series can be disassembled for replacement of seals which extends the service life of the cylinder. All stainless steel specification for external parts. Mounting bracket surfaces have been electropolished, making them smoother to prevent build-up of liquids and foreign matter. Plugs are provided for unused mounting threads to prevent residue build-up in the threads.
CJ5 Small Bore Stainless Steel Actuators
Series CJ5-S is a small bore stainless steel cylinder, designed for use in environments with water spray (such as food processing machines). A special scraper (standard) prevents water from entering the cylinder. Non-toxic additives allow confident use in equipment for food, beverage and medical products, etc. The CJ5-S series can be disassembled for replacement of seals.

EX600 Wireless SI Unit
The EX600 serial interface offers a full suite of diagnostics and programmable parameters to meet the most stringent requirements. The EX600 offers excellent flexibility including digital input, digital output and analog input unit options. With the use of D-sub output blocks, a maximum of 9 remote D-sub manifolds can be attached to one EX600 communication module. This serial interface is compatible with series SV1000/2000/3000, VQC1000/2000/4000, S0700 and the new SY series valves. Available protocols include Ethernet/IP™, PROFINET. The EX600 wireless cannot be used in countries where wireless is not supported. Refer to the catalog for details of countries where wireless is supported.

Electric Actuators Controllers & Drivers

Electric linear actuators can push, pull or transfer workloads in a distinctly different way from pneumatic actuators. Pneumatic actuators rely on relatively crude devices such as rubber cushions or shock absorbers, pressure regulators, and flow restricting fittings at the port to control their motion. By contrast, an electric actuator employs an electronically controlled motor and ballscrew to deliver a precise motion profile through acceleration, speed and deceleration. Further, the controller is capable of integrating multiple ‘stop’ positions along the actuator's stroke with high precision and repeatability.

KG2, One-touch Fitting Stainless
SMC’s popular one touch technology has been incorporated into this series where all the wetted metal parts are made from stainless steel. This fitting is suitable for use in CRT production for example where the use of copper must be avoided. Other applications include wash down or other environments that could corrode normal fittings. KG can be used for vacuum –100 kPa and pressures up to 1 MPa (~150 PSI). This fitting is available in 27 different body styles, with connection sizes from M5 to ½ R(PT), and tube sizes from 4mm OD to 12 mm OD.
KFG2 Stainless Steel Fittings
Series KFG2 fittings can operate with ambient operating fluid temperatures of -65 to 260ºC (swivel elbow type -5 to 150ºC). With their stainless steel 316 construction and unique non-rubber seal insert connection, these grease-free fittings offer high levels of corrosion resistance, and can be used with numerous piping materials including FEP, PFS, soft and regular nylon, polyurethane and polyoelfin. Available in male elbow, male connector, male branch tee, straight union, union tee, bulkhead union, union elbow, swivel elbow and female connector options, the KFG2 fittings can accommodate tube sizes from 4mm to 16mm and 1/8" to 1/2" with port sized thread connections from R1/8 to R1/2 and 1/8NPT to 1/2NPT.
ASG Stainless Steel Speed Controller
Suitable for applications where copper free specifications are required, the “–FG” series can also be used in areas where wash down could degrade standard flow controls, such as food and packaging. This series is designed to offer the maximum control by increasing the number of turns of the needle to 10. The body and adjustment are made of high impact white resin for a clean look. This series also incorporates SMC’s one-touch fitting available for tubing sizes from 4mm to 12mm OD.
KKA, S Coupler, Stainless Steel
S coupler series KK employs a unique connection method. A slim body design and large effective area are achieved with a construction that does not use steel balls or valve springs and therefore does not restrict the flow path. Together with a reduction of the body size, pressing parts and resin parts are used to achieve an overall weight reduction.
HRS-R, IP54 Environmentally Resistant Chiller
The HRS-R is the IP54 rated variation of our popular HRS compact recirculating chiller. Upgrades include an IP54 electrical box and IP67 cable entries on the back panel. Additionally, the entire paneled housing is comprised of coated metal to resist degradation from oil mist, with an available stainless steel option for greater corrosion resistance. An optional 12L circulating coolant return tank can be selected. This tank has a capped opening separate from the fill port for easier cleaning when necessary. Finally, the ambient temperature upper limit has been increased to 45°C. The HRS-R shares many features with the standard HRS, including common overall dimensions, caster wheels for mobility, an angled fill port with a level indicator for the fluid tank, and a heating function. A magnet pump eliminates leakage and seal replacement. The dustproof filter is removable for cleaning without tools. The refrigerant is air cooled. If an external PF3W flow sensor is desired, a 24VDC power supply is available at the rear.

Chillers and Temperature Control Equipment
Recirculating chillers and heat exchangers are installed to provide thermal stability for applications in industrial and applied sciences from laser cutting, welding, marking and plastic injection molding. Lab science and analytical equipment applications include: mass spectrometry, gas chromatography, MRIs, CT scanners, radiation therapy machines and other medical equipment.
Sizing of the chiller or heat exchanger is determined by the required cooling capacity measured in watts (W), kilowatts (kW), BTU per hour, or ton or refrigeration (RT); temperature stability or tolerance; and cooling method, refrigeration or Peltier effect.
SMC chillers are available in Rack Mount, Bench Top, or Floor Standing installations and are cooled with air or facility water; the recirculating coolant can be water, DI water, or an Ethylene glycol mixture.
IZS Bar Ionizers
By neutralizing static electricity, our IZS bar style Ionizer prevents damage to work pieces caused by sticking. Static charge removal time can be reduced with an optional sensor that directly senses charge allowing the removal of static electricity at high speed (0.3s) by generating the appropriate ion polarity. Needle cartridges can be replaced quickly to reduce down time. The IZS bar style Ionizer is available in various lengths to meet the specific needs of your work area.
IZT Bar Ionizer, Separate Controller and Power Supply Module
The IZT bar ionizer is an industrial static control solution. Bar ionizers generate a curtain of static eliminating ions effective for a distance up to 2000mm/6.5 ft. The IZT's low profile is also ideal for tight clearance installations. Compared to SMC's IZS4 bar ionizers, the power supply and control modules have been separated from the bar, resulting in a reduction in bar height. IZT bars can be placed closer to static-carriying materials in more confined adjacent spaces. The separate controller can be mounted in a workstation for easier access and observation during operation. Models include the standard IZT40, the IZT41 which adds auto-balance, emitter maintenance detection, and I/O signals, and the IZT42 with low amplitude ion generation for sensitive electronics. Extending the value of IZT, one controller can manage a maximum of 4 ionizing bars. Needle cartridges are easily removed, without tools, for cleaning or end-of-life replacement, futher extending this ionizer's value.
IZN Nozzle Ionizers
SMC offers two industrial static control options for compact or confined target treatment areas. The IZN Nozzle Ionizer is a palm-sized, self-contained static control device with a cable for PLC I/O and power supply connections. The IZT43 pairs a smaller ionizing head with separate power supply and control modules, for even more confined applications up to 3m from the operator's workstation.
IZF Fan Ionizers
Unlike bar or nozzle types, this fan ionizer does not require a pneumatic air supply. The fan draws in ambient air, then ionizes the air with four electrodes located around the perimeter of the discharge grill. The fan can be wired into a 24VDC machine power supply, or use the optional 120V AC adapter. The small form factor adapts well to enclosure mounting, or select the benchtop mounting bracket for free positioning.
IZG10, Ionizer Gun
The IZG10 Ionizer Gun combines the functions of a triggered, compressed air blow gun and a high frequency AC ionizer. This device allows a user to easily clean dust-contaminated workpieces, or separate clinging films or sheets of paper or carboard during manual operations. Once the target materials are cleaned, additional operations can be performed such as assembly, printing or labeling, surface treatment, or packaging. Ergonomic features such as a low 200g weight, easy to hold grip, and trigger settings improve comfort and reduce user fatigue. Energy savings result from selecting a pulse blowing mode, an OFF timer, or setting on the flow adjustment valve. High visibility LEDs indicate power, ion generation, maintenance requirement, or function errors. A removable nozzle allows emitter cleaning and eventual replacement at its end of life. An optional 30psi OSHA-compliant bypass nozzle is also available. Finally, a bright LED at the front illuminates the target area for detailed work. Includes 3m power supply cable.

Anti-static suction cups are available in conductive NBR or anti-static urethane. The urethane pad surface resistance 109 to 1011Ω. Anti-static vacuum pad attachment is made from a conductive PEEK material
Handheld Electrostatic Meter
The IZH10 is SMC's handheld electrostatic meter. This meter features two function buttons and a backlit LCD display. The meter can be used to investigate and verify static electricity charges up to +/- 20,000 V.
ZK2 Vacuum Generator
The ZK2*A series is an energy-saving generator with 93% reduced air consumption. It has a 50% increase in suction flow compared to other single stage SMC generators. The ZK2*A also has various mounting options to choose from.
ZP3P Vacuum Cup Unit Without Adapter
The ZP3P series is made of a silicone rubber that is compliant with FDA21CFRSS1772600. The blue colored pad can be easily distinguished during contamination inspections. The sealing skirt design reduces leakage and offers a better sealing performance for film. ZL Multi-stage Generators
Vacuum Generator series ZL series is a multi-stage, high-efficiency vacuum generator, which operates at 150% efficiency (compared to about 40% for other units). For each scfm of compressed air it consumes, the ZL generates an incredible 1.587 scfm of suction flow. The ZL is available with a built-in vacuum switch with digital readout for design flexibility. Other features include built-in suction filter, exhaust silencer, and one-touch tube fittings. Its' compact design allows for mounting from three sides.
ISE20B-L, Digital Pressure Sensor, 3 Screen IP65 with IO-Link
ISE20B-L is a digital pressure sensor supporting the IO-Link communication protocol. When paired with an IO-Link master, measured values, and settings can be accessed from the HMI screen of a PLC. ISE20B-L incorporates IO-Link 16-bit process data includes 2 output bits for set points, a diagnosis bit, and 13 bits for the measured pressure valve. The 3-screen, 3-color display shows the instantaneous reading in red or green, and the setting label and its numerical value in orange. ISE20B-L is UL/CSA, CE and RoHS compliant, with an IP65 enclosure rating.
ISE70, Digital Pressure Sensor, 3 Screen IP67 with IO Link
This next generation ISE70 pressure sensor provides continuous quantitative values, as well as switched digital outputs when pressure set points are met. This sensor is also IO-Link compatible. Sensor information, such as identity, functional state, cable connection, and current or switch values can be set or monitored remotely though an IO-Link master, and connected to a fieldbus network. The ISE70 is designed for abusive environments that may also include splashed coolant, lubricants or grime. Electronics are packaged in a metal housing, while the piping connection is a stout lug with female threads, which together protect the sensor against accidental collisions with other objects in the area. A smooth display face with membrane type buttons avoids contamination from grit and sticky residue that could clog or jam raised rubber buttons. The display is angled and can rotate 336 degrees, to permit easy reading when indirectly mounted. The main screen shows instantaneous values in red or green, while the sub screen setting appear in orange. Switch indicators will also light when set points are reached.
ZSE20B(F)-L, Digital Vacuum Sensor, 3 Screen IP65 with IO Link
