Pneumatic clamp cylinders are used for holding a workpiece in place while work is being done. Most pneumatic clamp cylinders are designed for weld spatter resistance for long life.
Pin clamp cylinder series C(L)KQ series was designed with 4 body types for a broad range of installation conditions. There are 55 types of guide pins available and an optional locking mechanism. C(L)KQ series has positioning and clamping at one time. Precision adjustment of clamping height is possible by choosing the with-shim type. Adjustment range: 0.5 to 3mm.
Swing clamp cylinder series MK-Z has a high allowable moment of inertia. The typical application for the MK-Z is to hold parts during a welding application. A short overall length means that the MK-Z series is versatile in mounting. Auto switches can be mounted on any of the 4 surfaces with no projection of the switch.
Combining compact cylinder size and rotating clamp cylinder, the MK2T cylinder is designed for heavy duty clamping applications, with an available integrated arm that swings out of the way when the cylinder is extended. 90 degree clockwise or counter clockwise is available, and clamping arms with adjustment screw are standard options. MK2T is available in 6 bore sizes from 20mm to 63mm and strokes from 10mm to 50mm.
Power clamp cylinder series CKZ2N conforms to the new NAAMS standard. The rounded cover design and release button with minimal protrusion, reduce weld spatter accumulation. The arm opening angle can be easily changed by replacing the stopper bolt. The CKZ2N is available in sizes equivalent to 50, 63, and 80mm bore with arm opening angles ranging from 15° to 135 Consult your SMC Representative before use for program quantities.
Power clamp series CKZ3N conforms to the NAAMS standard. The improved design reduced weight by up to 39% with aluminum body. The rounded cover design and release button with minimal protrusion, reduce weld spatter accumulation. The arm opening angle range from 15° to 135° and can be easily changed by replacing the stopper body. Available in 50 and 63 bore sizes.
Power clamp cylinder series CKZ3T-X2734, was designed with metal switch cassette cover with reconfiguration for simple switch adjustment. Similar to the CKZ3T, the arm opening angle can be easily changed by replacing the stopper bolt.
Clamp cylinder series CK1-Z is available in two styles of clevis widths (16.5mm, 19.5mm). It is a non-lube, compact, lightweight cylinder with a built-in speed controller. The CK1-Z is available in 3 bore sizes with stroke lengths up to 150mm. Options include easy speed adjustments, rod attachments and auto switch capabilities.

Shot pin cylinder series CKZP is designed for both high precision and positioning repeatability. Also known as a locating pin cylinder, the configurations for the CKZP include bore sizes equivalent to 57mm and 71mm with strokes of either 25mm or 50mm. The proximity switch sensor and port thread type can also be selected. Widely used in automotive applications, the mounting is based on NAAMS standard (71mm bore)
The CKZM micro clamp cylinder allows for easy mounting and easy adjustment of clamping position during assembly. The dust resistant construction prevents dust from entering easily.
The WRF100 with its high clamping force makes it suitable for a broad range of applications. Standardized T-type and S-type arms allows the selection to meet certain specifications or applications. Also, has an optional spatter protective cover with easy assembly even after the cylinder is installed.
The W-R1 and W-R3 pallet lock cylinder offers post stoppage positioning and locking of carriers, line pallets, cars, and more. The design's wide arm opening angle prevents contact with the workpiece. The integration of the clamping unit and cylinder unit reduces design and assembly labor
