Ball Screw Drive
An LEFS slider, or rodless, type electric actuator features a load mounting platform situated above a ball screw drive. A flexible seal band permits platform movement while preventing grease and foreign matter from entering the drive. Advantages include a low profile height, shorter overall length than rod types, and better positioning repeatability than belt drives.
LEFS Slider, Ball Screw Drive, Incremental Encoder
The LEFS is a versatile rodless electric actuator featuring a load mounting platform driven by a ball screw for high precision and repeatability. It uses a flexible seal band to protect the internal drive mechanism from grease and foreign debris. Available with either high load step motors or high speed servo motors, this unit offers a balanced combination of speed, stroke length, and positioning accuracy.
LEFS High Performance Slider, Ball Screw Drive
The LEFS High Performance version is an upgraded ball screw electric actuator that delivers higher load capacities of 9% and 50% over standard models. It's designed to reduce cycle times through enhanced maximum speed and acceleration/deceleration capabilities. While it features a direct mounted inline motor and an incremental encoder, its dimensions and mounting patterns remain identical to standard LEFS units, making it a drop-in performance upgrade for existing equipment.
LEFSW Slider, IP65 Dust and Water Resistant, Battery-less Absolute Encoder
The LEFSW is a ruggedized slider designed for harsh environments, offering IP65 equivalent protection against dust and water jets. It features a unique design where the loading table is mounted underneath the body to prevent liquid ingress, complemented by corrosion resistant internal parts and a purge port to create a moisture barrier. Equipped with a battery-less absolute encoder, it provides reliable, high precision positioning even in wash down or high contamination industrial settings.
LE2FS, High Performance Slider, Ball Screw Drive, for Manifold Controller
The LE2FS is a ball screw-driven slider that offers high precision and repeatability (±0.015mm) for positioning tasks. It supports substantial workloads — up to 80kg horizontally and 40kg vertically — across strokes ranging from 50mm to 1200mm. This model is distinguished by its ability to provide a range of pushing forces and its automated detection by the JXD1-M controller, which simplifies setup by identifying the actuator type and size upon connection to the unit.
LEFS Slider, Ball Screw Drive, Battery-less Absolute Encoder
This variation of the LEFS slider incorporates a battery-less absolute encoder, which uses a mechanical gear based system to detect position. It's ideal for applications where homing at every startup is impractical and supports various fieldbus protocols like EtherNet/IP and IO Link.
LEKFS*E High Rigidity Slider, Ball Screw Drive, Battery-less Absolute Encoder
The LEKFS E series is a high rigidity slider that uses a reinforced guide rail to handle higher moment loads and provide greater stability during operation. This model includes a battery-less absolute encoder for maintenance-free position tracking and is engineered for applications requiring high precision under heavy or overhanging loads. Its robust mechanical construction minimizes deflection, ensuring consistent performance over long stroke lengths.
LEKFS*G High Rigidity Slider, Ball Screw Drive, High Performance with Battery-less Absolute Encoder
The LEKFS G combines high rigidity mechanical design with the high performance motor characteristics of the F series. It's engineered for applications that demand both the ability to withstand large moments and the need for rapid cycle times with high acceleration. It's tuned for superior speed and load capacity, making it the top tier option for demanding ball screw slider applications.
25A-LEFS Slider, Ball Screw Drive, Incremental Encoder
The 25A series is designed for secondary battery manufacturing environments, where materials like copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) must be strictly controlled to prevent contamination. These actuators use stainless steel hardware and specialized low dew point grease that remains functional down to 70°C. The actuator body is designed to meet the clean room and material safety requirements of the electronics and automotive battery industries.
