SMC to Exhibit at The Int’l Baking Industry Expo 2025 in Las Vegas

SMC Corporation of America will exhibit at the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) in Las Vegas at the Convention Center, North Hall Booth #7153 on September 14–17. IBIE is where next generation baking technology is launched and where new trends are discovered.

SMC will feature its latest technology in reverse pulse jet dust collection and mitigation, the Smart VentTM valves with its NEMA 4 protection for Class II service. It also features on-demand or timed operation enhanced with IIoT sensor routing. Its proprietary elastomer diaphragm does not require a spring to shift extending its service life to 10 million plus cycles while producing faster response times and energy savings.

The Air Management System (AMS) monitors and measures pressure, air flow and temperature to provide the optimal supply of air pressure and volume for efficient process control to reduce demand on air compressors during machine operation and will functional throttle down to idle mode during nonoperating cycles supporting sustainable manufacturing.

Other SMC products exhibited are:

· JSXD 2-way Pilot Operated Solenoid Valves for Air, Water and Oil – The standard stainless-steel coil cover rotates 360° with superior corrosion and water resistance. Its new coil technology maximizes magnetic efficiency by reducing energy consumption. An internal stopper is utilized to reduce metal noise and longer service life. Available in: NBR, FKM and EPDM seal materials, M12 connector, and UL and cUL.

· JSB Air Operated Angle Seat Valve – The unique shaft seal technology allows for up to 5 million cycles for use with water or air at high flow rates of Cv 28. Its body material is SUS 304 with a 360° rotational pilot port.

· Energy Saving Solenoid Valves, JSY Series – Versatile, side, top and bottom porting locations with built-in safety features such as back pressure check valve options.

 

· Washdown and Environment Resistant Actuators – Designed with a flat configuration, eliminating switch grooves and holes for cushion needles to prevent pooling of liquids and allow for easy wipe down of actuator surfaces.

 

· Recirculating Chillers – Air and water-cooled recirculating chillers control temperature stability within a ±0.1°C range for maintaining quality control for food and beverage processes.
