Bar Ionizers
Bar ionizers apply a curtain of anti-static neutralizing ions up to 2500mm wide for large treatment areas. IZS models unite a bar, controls, and high voltage power supply into one package. Optional sensors optimize ion polarity at the treatment area surface. IZT models separate the controls and power supply from the bar, for remote mounting in smaller spaces or away from operator areas. IZS and some IZT models offer an air purge for faster neutralization, greater dispersion of the positive and negative ions, or further mounting distance from the treatment area. A slimmer IZT version removes air purge for installation in the tightest spaces, while its narrower emitter pitch achieves even faster static charge neutralization.
IZS51, Integrated Bar Ionizer with IO-Link
The IZS51 series is an all-in-one bar ionizer with an integrated power supply and a compact, flat profile that simplifies installation in tight spaces. The new cartridge design improves ion transfer efficiency and speeds up static discharge by 14%, while the standby valve reduces compressed air and energy consumption. It is used in general manufacturing, semiconductor, automotive assembly, and advanced electronics to remotely monitor equipment health and static levels via IO-Link.
IZSW10, Dust and Water Resistant Bar Ionizer, IP66
The IZSW is designed with an IP66 rating to protect against water and dust. Features a metal power cable connector, corrosion-resistant purge fittings, and sealed internal components. A low-pressure air purge keeps water out of the flow path during active washdowns. This ionizer can survive heavy splashing and without short-circuiting or water pooling. It's used in industries that undergo daily factory washdowns, such as food and beverage processing and pharmaceuticals.
IZSW10 Emitter Cartridges
The IZSW10 emitter cartridges are compatible exclusively with the IP66-rated IZSW10 bar ionizer. A new IZSW10 static bar comes equipped with your choice of cartridges. These cartridges can also be purchased separately as end-of-life replacements or upgrades for the original equipment. Air flow around the emitter is designed to reduce contamination while improving ion transfer, yielding longer life intervals and 14% faster static electricity discharge times.
IZS40/41/42 Integrated with Air Purge
The IZS4 family is SMC's 3rd generation of bar ionizers. This general purpose series generates an ion curtain up to 6.5 feet away providing rapid static neutralization over large surface areas. It's used in cleanrooms, electronics manufacturing to protect electronic components from ESD damage, and in plastics and textile processing to keep sheets from jamming in high-speed machines.
IZT40/41/42 Remote with Air Purge
The IZT bar ionizer is an industrial static control solution. The IZT series separates the power supply and control modules from the bar itself giving it a low-profile. A single controller can manage up to 4 separate ionizing bars. The separated design allows the emitting bar to be installed in places with tight clearances while the controller can be mounted remotely at the workstation for easy access. It is purchased by manufacturers that can't fit standard ionizers into complex machines and need to be able to read and adjust ionizer settings during operation. The IZT-L version adds IO link capability for data reporting and parameter setting.
IZT44/45, Slim Remote without Air Purge
ITZ slim remotes are the modular components of the IZT static control system. The IZTB is the standalone remote bar, while the IZTP is the high-voltage supply module that dictates AC, DC, or Dual AC ion generation. They allow facilities to expand an existing static control system or replace damaged components without buying a new kit.
