Fan Ionizers
Unlike bar or nozzle types, this fan ionizer does not require a pneumatic air supply. The fan draws in ambient air, then ionizes the air with four electrodes located around the perimeter of the discharge grill. The fan can be wired into a 24VDC machine power supply, or use the optional 120V AC adapter. The small form factor adapts well to enclosure mounting, or select the benchtop mounting bracket for free positioning.
IZF10, Fan Type Ionizer
The IZF10 is a compact, standalone fan ionizer that emits static-eliminating ions using ambient air. Its small footprint makes it easy to adapt to enclosure mounting or place on a workstation using the optional benchtop bracket. Because it doesn't need pneumatic piping, it can be deployed anywhere with a standard 24VDC or AC adapter power source. It is ideal for local static control in areas where a compressed air supply is either inconvenient, unavailable, or too disruptive to sensitive materials on a benchtop.
IZF10R, Small Fan Ionizer w/Air Flow Function
The IZF10R has the same compact footprint and ion balance as the baseline IZF10, but upgrades the controls. It features a 4-speed fan adjuster knob and adds a secondary output signal that indicates when emitter maintenance is required. The higher speed allows for a greater range and faster neutralization, while the lower speed ensures quieter operation for sensitive work.
IZF21/31, Fan Type Ionizer
The IZF21 and IZF31 are SMC's flagship fan ionizers, offering significantly more power than the IZF10 series. They use 8 emitters to provide a large ion output, neutralizing static in as little as 0.5 seconds. They can treat an area of up to 8 feet by 2 feet and feature a 10-speed fan adjuster, a ±5V ion balance, and 4 LEDs that communicate up to 10 normal and alarm conditions. These ionizers offer market leading performance that is capable of covering large workspaces without compressed air. The emitters reverse polarity each time power is supplied, increasing their durability and lifespan.
IZF10/IZS40, AC Adapter
The AC adapter allows the 24VDC IZF10 and IZS40 units to be plugged into a standard wall outlet, removing the need for industrial DC power supplies for standalone workstation use.
IZF10, Mounting Bracket
The mounting bracket provides a pivoting, stable base that allows an operator to angle the ionizer precisely where they are working.
