Valve and Regulator Model and Series Selection

This presentation introduces a 4 step process for selecting the proper valve or regulator for an application. Reviews the key questions to ask when selecting a regulator or valve. Introduces AP Tech's Product Bulletin #208, the product selection guide. This guide includes recommendations for the most common gases used in semiconductor manufacturing and related industries based on flow and location in the gas system. The difference between AP, AZ and AK valve series are explained in detail. Using a sample application, the presentation moves step by step in the selection process. Once a series and model has been selected, the presentation walks through the datasheet and how to configure a part number to allow receiving pricing and lead time. At the end of the presentation, the user will be able to configure an AP Tech product using available resources from the website.
