ZFD Inline Air Filter, Bidirectional Flow type

The SMC ZFD Series is an In-line Air Filter (Bidirectional Flow Type). It is designed to collect foreign matter in both the vacuum suction and vacuum break directions. This capability is crucial to prevent contaminants from being released onto the workpiece during vacuum release.

ZFD series integrates filters, check valves and fittings into a single unit to save space. It also allows for easy element replacement.

  • Collection of foreign matter in both vacuum suction and vacuum release directions
  • Element can be replaced with tube attached.
  • Filtration: 5 μm (optional: 10 μm)
  • Operating Pressure Range: -100kPa to 0.5 MPa
  • Applicable Tube O.D.: ø4, ø6, and ø8 mm
  • Maximum Vacuum Flow: up to 140 L/min (ø8 mm)
