Automatic Leak Detection System
A simple low cost solution to help detect air leakage in compressed air circuits by integrating an automated leak detection system as a part of a machine that can even monitor leakage while a machine is in operation.
Series ITV electro-pneumatic and electronic vacuum regulators control air/vacuum pressure steplessly in proportion to an electric signal. They are light weight in design with a bright and easy to read LED display. The monitor output is available either as analog output or switch output. The ITV series is IP65 equivalent.

Soft Start Valve

Large Capacity Chiller
Large Capacity chillers offer a cooling capacity range of 10 to 28 kW. Coolant and refrigeration circuits are included in a compact and lightweight package. Extracted heat can be air or water cooled. An inverter provides demand-based rotation control for the compressor, pump and fan (air cooled model), offering substantial energy savings. Electric options ensure global power supply compatibility.
Rack Mount Chiller
The Rack Mount Chillers are a temperature control device mountable in a 19-inch rack. Rack mounting recovers desktop or floor space, permitting stacking of related devices and mobility, depending on the rack style. Recirculating fluid removes heat from the process source. The heat is then removed from the fluid by an air or water-cooled refrigeration circuit. Coolant temperature stability is ±0.1°C within a set temperature range of 10 to 35°C.
Directional Control Valves
Solenoid Valves 4 and 5 Port Series JSY
JSY series is a 5-port directional control valve targeted for the robotic arms and end of arm tools. It has compact and lightweight design while improving its flow characteristics. JSY series is available as plug-in and non plug-in types. There are 3 valve body sizes available for JSY series, JSY1000 (6.4mm), JSY3000 (10mm) and JSY5000 (15mm). JSY1000 is the world's smallest width 5 port valve with body width of 6.4mm. JSY plug-in type is compatible with fieldbus and ethernet communication module such as EX600 and EX260.
Solenoid Valves 4 and 5 Port Series SY
SMC has improved product performance and reliability with the redesigned SY series valve. The SY3000 and SY5000 have the same valve width as their predecessors, but the flow has been increased by up to 80%, allowing the valve size to be reduced. A built-in strainer in the pilot valve prevents trouble caused by foreign matter. By using H-NBR seal material for the main valve and seals, Ozone resistance has been improved. Side, top and bottom port/pipe directions are available to allow flexible installation. The SY is available in body ported or base mounted styles, and can be used individually or manifold mounted.
Clean Style Valve Manifold
JSY5000-H clean design valve manifold have a crevice free exterior for low fluid accumulation and easy to clean. With its IP69K enclosure, use of NSF-H1 grease and FDA compliant materials, and SUS316 metal parts, JSY5000-H can be used in applications where high pressure cleaning is required.

Electric Actuators Controllers and Drivers

Electric linear actuators can push, pull or transfer workloads in a distinctly different way from pneumatic actuators. Pneumatic actuators rely on relatively crude devices such as rubber cushions or shock absorbers, pressure regulators, and flow restricting fittings at the port to control their motion. By contrast, an electric actuator employs an electronically controlled motor and ballscrew to deliver a precise motion profile through acceleration, speed and deceleration. Further, the controller is capable of integrating multiple ‘stop’ positions along the actuator's stroke with high precision and repeatability.
ISA3 Digital Gap Sensor
The ISA3 is a unique sensor that uses air pressure to verify the presence and proximity of a workpiece. The placement of raw materials can be confirmed before machining or other fabrication operations. The correct seating of a component into a jig or fixture can generate a switch output to trigger the next assembly sequence. ISA3's new display quickly and clearly summarizes workpiece status for the operator. Establish the switch point in 3 easy steps. Lower air consumptions, zero exhaust noise, easier wiring, and excellent anti-clogging measures round out this 3rd generation gap checking device. ISA3 is CE and RoHS compliant, with an IP67 enclosure rating.
ISE20B-L Digital Pressure Sensor
ISE20B-L is a digital pressure sensor supporting the IO-Link communication protocol. When paired with an IO-Link master, measured values, and settings can be accessed from the HMI screen of a PLC. ISE20B-L incorporates IO-Link 16-bit process data includes 2 output bits for set points, a diagnosis bit, and 13 bits for the measured pressure valve. The 3-screen, 3-color display shows the instantaneous reading in red or green, and the setting label and its numerical value in orange. ISE20B-L is UL/CSA, CE and RoHS compliant, with an IP65 enclosure rating.
ISE70 Digital Pressure Sensor
This next generation ISE70 pressure sensor provides continuous quantitative values, as well as switched digital outputs when pressure set points are met. This sensor is also IO-Link compatible. Sensor information, such as identity, functional state, cable connection, and current or switch values can be set or monitored remotely though an IO-Link master, and connected to a fieldbus network. The ISE70 is designed for abusive environments that may also include splashed coolant, lubricants or grime. Electronics are packaged in a metal housing, while the piping connection is a stout lug with female threads, which together protect the sensor against accidental collisions with other objects in the area. A smooth display face with membrane type buttons avoids contamination from grit and sticky residue that could clog or jam raised rubber buttons. The display is angled and can rotate 336 degrees, to permit easy reading when indirectly mounted. The main screen shows instantaneous values in red or green, while the sub screen setting appear in orange. Switch indicators will also light when set points are reached.
ZSE20B Digital Vacuum Sensor

Grippers 2 Finger

Grippers 3 Finger
Three finger grippers are ideal for positioning round or cylindrical workpieces.
Grippers 4 Finger
Grippers with 4-fingers series MHS4 are optimal for positioning square work pieces as well as picking up round objects. Its wedge cam design minimizes its overall size while retaining a high holding force making it suitable for end-of-arm (end effector) or space constrained pick and place applications.
Electrical Grippers and Actuators
SMC has introduced a line of actuators driven by 24VDC step motors fitted with battery-less absolute encoders. An absolute encoder offers position data upon power-on, avoiding the homing routine an incremental encoder requires. Our battery-less absolute encoder pairs orientation sensors with differently sized rotating wheels to enable position detection. This electro-mechanical design eliminates the battery and its accompanying import and disposal restrictions common to traditional absolute encoders. A battery-less solution is also free of memory retention limits from extended power-off situations.
Electric Gripper 2-Finger Horizontal Type
The LEHF gripper uses a belt driven slide shaft to open and close the fingers. The low profile, flat fingers follow a linear guide for alignment and stability. The body and drive construction permit much longer strokes than the LEHZ, suitable for gripping larger items without excessive moment loading.
Electric Gripper 2 Finger Vertical Type
The LEHZ is the most common electric gripper, with the most sizes. The motor drives a slide screw coupled to a lever assembly. The levers open and close the fingers, which follow a linear guide for alignment and stability. The narrow fingers are 12 to 36 mm long, with several optional tool mounting arrangements. A flat finger option is also available.
Electric Slide Table
The LES electric actuator combines a motor and ball screw drive, worktable, and linear guide in compact body. The formed sheet metal table allows a lower mounting surface height, lighter weight, and greater vertical work load than the LESH slide table. Body orientations include basic, symmetrical, and inline mounted motor.
Energy Saving Vacuum Generators
The ZK2*A series is an energy-saving generator with 93% reduced air consumption. It has a 50% increase in suction flow compared to other single stage SMC generators. The ZK2*A also has various mounting options to choose from.
High Efficiency Vacuum Generators
Vacuum Generator series ZL series is a multi-stage, high-efficiency vacuum generator, which operates at 150% efficiency (compared to about 40% for other units). For each scfm of compressed air it consumes, the ZL generates an incredible 1.587 scfm of suction flow. The ZL is available with a built-in vacuum switch with digital readout for design flexibility. Other features include built-in suction filter, exhaust silencer, and one-touch tube fittings. Its' compact design allows for mounting from three sides.

Vacuum Products Suction Cups
Suction Cups are the critical point of contact for pick and place applications for handling corrugated cardboard, metal or glass sheets, food processing and packaging, and even bag opening tasks. They are designed in a wide range of diameters ranging from 0.8mm to 200mm for tiny objects to heavy-duty applications. SMC's standard cup shapes include: flat, thin flat, bellows, deep, oval, and oval flat. Suction cup materials are: Silicone, NBR, urethane, FKM, mark-free, and FDA compliant food grade materials. Installation options can be specified on either spring loaded buffers or threaded stems. Special application cups include: integrated with vacuum generator, with check valve, and in porous materials.
Air Cylinders and Actuators

Series JCQ Compact Actuators are double acting, single rod, compact and lightweight.
Compact Guided Cylinder
Series JMGP compact guided actuators are double acting, compact and lightweight. The JMGP is suitable for pushing, lifting or clamping applications.
Pneumatic clamp cylinders are used for holding a workpiece in place while work is being done. Most pneumatic clamp cylinders are designed for weld spatter resistance for long life.
Fittings and Flow Control Equipment
One Touch Fittings
KQ2 one-touch, metric and inch size fittings are available in a wide variety of sizes, body styles and thread types. The use of a special profile seal allows the KQ2 to be used for a wide range of pressures from a low vacuum up to a pressure of 1MPa. The KQ2 release collar releases both the chuck and collet to provide a low disconnection force for easy removal of the tubing.
Rotary one-touch fitting series KS comes with a ball race bearing for oscillating or rotating applications. KS series comes in 5 tube sizes ranging from 4 to 12mm. One-touch collet includes anti tube rotation mechanism. KS is suitable for copper free applications.
Using SMC speed controls with built in one-touch fittings minimizes installation time, reduces mounting height and enables a more compact machine design. These speed controls allow the body to be rotated to facilitate simple installation. Available in thread sizes from M3 to 1/2 in both inch (NPT) and metric R(PT) and with tube sizes from 3.2mm to 12mm OD (metric) and 1/8 to 1/2 OD (inch) and with optional elbow and universal style (increased flexibility) and meter-in and meter-out, these speed controls are designed to meet most applications.
Tubing comes in a variety of material types to accommodate for various media through the connectors. Some material types include: polyurethane, fluororesin, polyolefin, spark resistant, water resistant and polyethylene. Varying materials prevent corrosion, damage from high temperatures and hydrolysis.
2 Port Direct Solenoid Valve
The VX2 series is 2 port direct solenoid valve for general purpose air, medium vacuum and water. Available body materials include resin, aluminum, brass or stainless steel with port size up to 1/2 inch. Resin body is offered with one touch fitting to reduce installation time. It is also available as a manifold to reduce piping.
General Service 2 Port Direct Operated Solenoid Valve
JSX series is a 2-port direct operated solenoid valve for general purpose air, water and oil. It has standard stainless-steel enclosure to have superior resistance to both corrosion and water. JSX series utilizes new coil technology to maximize magnetic efficiency and reduced energy consumption. Internal stopper is utilized to reduce metal noise and longer service life. JSX*U series includes high flow and power savings. The power is saved by reducing the wattage required to hold the valve which becomes effective after being energized for more than 200 ms.
Bar Type Ionizer
The IZT bar ionizer is an industrial static control solution. Bar ionizers generate a curtain of static eliminating ions effective for a distance up to 2000mm/6.5 ft. The IZT's low profile is also ideal for tight clearance installations. Compared to SMC's IZS4 bar ionizers, the power supply and control modules have been separated from the bar, resulting in a reduction in bar height. IZT bars can be placed closer to static-carrying materials in more confined adjacent spaces. The separate controller can be mounted in a workstation for easier access and observation during operation. Models include the standard IZT40, the IZT41 which adds auto-balance, emitter maintenance detection, and I/O signals, and the IZT42 with low amplitude ion generation for sensitive electronics. Extending the value of IZT, one controller can manage a maximum of 4 ionizing bars. Needle cartridges are easily removed, without tools, for cleaning or end-of-life replacement, further extending this ionizer's value.
Nozzle Type Ionizer
The IZN10E is SMC's nozzle ionizer. The nozzle ionizer emits an air-assisted cone of static eliminating ions for focused targets 2 inches or smaller, up to 20 inches away.
Handheld Electrostatic Meter
The IZH10 is SMC's handheld electrostatic meter. This meter features two function buttons and a backlit LCD display.
